Musou Madness - Dynasty Warriors ORIGINS

Alright, let’s talk about something that’s been living in my brain since the moment it was announced, Dynasty Warriors: Origins! As someone who has been obsessed with Musou games for almost 12 years, this is huge. You maybe know, I eat up every new title in the genre, and with Koei Tecmo bringing back the classic Dynasty Warriors feel, I’m ready to throw myself straight into the chaos.

If you’re not familiar with Musou games (first of all, fix that), they’re all about over-the-top battles where you, as a ridiculously powerful warrior, slash down thousands of enemies like a living god. It’s fast, dramatic, and honestly, best feeling. And Dynasty Warriors? That’s the blueprint.

Now, let’s talk about what makes Origins so exciting. They’re ditching the open-world experiment from Dynasty Warriors 9 (thank god) and going back to the high-energy, stage-based combat that made the series legendary. It’s all about large-scale battles, cinematic intensity, and that classic “one vs. a thousand” chaos that never gets old.

And of course, the character designs—one of my biggest obsessions in any Musou game. Koei Tecmo has always treated Dynasty Warriors like an evolving art project, blending historical armor with exaggerated, anime-esque flair. I can’t help but analyze how these designs convey personality, status, and even combat style at first glance. Every new iteration brings fresh takes on iconic warlords, and you know I’ll be breaking down every little detail.

The cinematics and UI design are also a huge part of what makes these games immersive. From dynamic motion graphics to the bold typography used in battle prompts, the visual identity of Dynasty Warriors has always been strong. It’s not just about looking cool—it’s about instantly communicating the chaos and energy of war. If Origins leans into that classic, high-contrast, fast-paced aesthetic, we’re in for a treat. The music is also a big fact, I remember i hear the song of Samurai Warriors 2 in my dreams years ago(lol).

At the end of the day, Dynasty Warriors: Origins is shaping up to be a return to form, and I couldn’t be more hyped. I couldn't wait to die 1000 times to Lu Bu(Biggest overpowered and most powerful character ever.).

Pixel BANANA is out, time to start endure the collapse of my mind and pressing the hell of the square button.🍌
